MORAINE – On September 23, 2020, Winsupply Inc. held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the construction kick-off for the Richard W. Schwartz Center of Innovation. The ground-breaking ceremony was held at the actual project location on Kettering Boulevard in Moraine. More information about the event can be found in the Dayton Daily News.
Wilcon is the design-build contractor for the project, which is set to be completed by the summer of 2021. To reflect the name of the building and it’s intended use, the exterior materials of the building have been carefully selected. The building will be equipped with some innovative features which are still under development and will be released at a later time.
The Center of Innovation is part of the overall masterplan and will be tied in with the other buildings on the Winsupply campus by a sidewalk. “Establishing a walkable connection between the different Winsupply buildings will definitely add to the campus-feel”, according to Wilcon-president Dennis Niemeijer.
